What is FGC?
FGC, or FIRST Global Challenge for longer, is an international robotics competition aimed at 14- to 18-year-olds, the competition’s goal is to popularize science and technology among youth.
Where we come from?
Over the years, FGC teams in Estonia have been led by our mentor Velle. In the beginning, her own students from Tamsalu High School competed, but now that her students have grown up, the team has new members who have competed in the FLL (FIRST LEGO League Challenge) before.
What are we doing?
During the summer, as part of the competition, we have to build a robot corresponding to the competition task, a research project that would solve a problem suitable for the theme of the season, and in the process share our work in order to raise interest in science and technology.

Our activities
In addition to robotics, we develop ourselves through courses and fun activities. We study physics and math together and heat food with Pärtel’s computer. Our team also explains to others what we do and what are our goals. We also like to have a little fun here and there.
